Anthony Price Jr. is excited and blessed to serve at Calvary Murrieta since 2004. Originally from Cincinnati, Anthony was born and raised in the great state of Ohio. Where his parents Anthony Price Sr., Carla Jackson, and the rest of his family still reside.

In High School he was a four sport athletic leader and participated in football, basketball, track, and baseball. Following High School, Anthony continued his leadership as he attended Trinity International University in Chicago, IL. where he played running back on the football team. In his four years at Trinity he earned business degrees in Marketing and Management. At Trinity is where he also met his gorgeous wife Julie Price. They have been married for three years and currently have one son by the name of Anthony "Tre" Price III. The Price Family fellowships at Calvary Chapel Romoland/ U- Turn for Christ the ministry of his father-in-law Pastor Gerry Brown.

Anthony's nickname is Tu Price which he received from his parents when he was young. They called him "Tu" because he was the second Anthony Price.

Tu's favorite verse is Colossians 3:17 which reads, "Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the Name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Reminding Tu that Jesus calls us all to pursue excellence always for His Glory.

Derrick Roth

Derrick Roth was born during the 70's in Corvallis, Oregon, and grew up in Bend, Oregon. During his freshman year ofigh school, he moved to San Diego where he attended Mt. Carmel High. It was in his junior year that Derrick discovered Christ's love and grace! A friend of his on the football team spent time at lunch going over Scripture with him and helping him understand what was being communicated in God’s word.

When it came time to go to college, Derrick’s choice was Colorado State University. There he not only played football for the CSU Rams (#56 - Outside Linebacker), but also graduated in 1995 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport Science, with an emphasis in Health and Wellness. Among his football achievements: Western Athletic Conference Champions 1994 & 1995, and the Holiday Bowl 1994 & 1995. As if he weren’t staying busy enough, during his time in college, he also started up CSU’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club!

On to family … while at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp in February of 1994, Derrick met his soon-to-be wife, Mindy, and they were married in June of 1995.

Together, the two of them were involved in missions. In 1996, they served one year with Accelerated Christian Education in the Former Soviet Republic of Georgia.

In 1998 they welcomed Micah Joel to their little family (who Dad admits “is a stud”), and only a few short years later - in 2001 - their daughter, Abby Kelly (“our princess”) joined them. Finally in 2006 Derrick and Mindy were blessed with their youngest bundle of “joy” – little Anna Joy.

And work experience … from 2000-2005, Derrick served 5 years as full-time staff with the FCA as the North San Diego Area Director, and there he was able to minister to students and athletes on 30+ campuses, host camps, leadership events, and outreaches.

In 2005, Derrick came on board at Calvary Chapel Christian School as the Jr. High Athletic Director, where he has been able to minister to many students through the vehicle of athletics.

Derrick’s calling is to Discipleship, Missions, and Service!

Frank Thomas

Frank was born in Santa Barbara, Ca and grew up in Ramona, Ca in San Diego County. Frank has been working in the Athletic Department for the last 5 years here at Calvary Chapel Murrieta. He has also been a coach for both Jr. High and High School levels for Football and Boys Basketball. He is currently is an Assistant Coach for the Varsity Football team and the Boys JV Basketball Coach.

Frank has been married for 10 years to his wife Nicole. They have three children, Taylor 10, Victoria 7, and Josiah a year old. Frank and Nicole live in Murrieta and currently Fellowship at Safe Harbor Christian Fellowship.

Timm MacDonnell

I was born in the Midwest.  I Grew up as a pastor’s kid and have been in California for the past 11 years.  Starting my 10th year teaching and coaching (varsity football and varsity track) I am as excited as I was that first year. 

God has blessed me with an incredible family.  I have been married almost ten years to my beautiful wife Janis who also works at Calvary Murrieta as the Science dept. chair and the Chemistry teacher.  We have four energetic kids Eryn, Camryn, and the twins Ryan and Jacob.  We are blessed to have them here at CCM with us.

I was born in Whittier, California and grew up in the Orange County area.  I have 2 boys, Chris who is in the Air Force and Justin who is here at Calvary in High School.  I have been married to my husband Jack for a little over two years and the Lord has truly blessed our lives.

We have an awesome God and he has blessed me with my position here in the Athletic Office.  I have always had a passion for sports.  Growing up I was into playing softball, soccer and even football with my brother and our friends.   It is a great opportunity to serve the Lord here at Calvary in the Athletic Ministry.
