This is a very important question because the world has changed significantly over the last 10 years and the pace of change is only accelerating. Globalization, outsourcing, the exponential growth in information and technology, terrorism, and significant social changes are just a few of the challenges and opportunities facing our children. Many of these changes threaten the moral foundations of our nation and of our families.

To prepare our students to serve Christ faithfully and effectively in the 21st century, Calvary Murrieta Christian School is committed to providing them with a comprehensive, Christian, and strong academic educational program of uncompromising quality within a stimulating and nurturing environment. From our elementary school children, to our advanced placement classes, CMCS is providing our students with an education that develops the Christian mind, nurtures the soul, and shapes the character.

Cameron StevensI would like to welcome you to a new school year here at Calvary Murrieta Christian Schools!  I am extremely excited to see what our Heavenly Father has in store for this upcoming year.  I can promise you that I, as your new principal, have been bathing this school year in prayer, as I hope you have as well.  There are many exciting changes to our programs this year.  First and foremost, we are a Junior High!  I have worked to provide us an identity that is all our own.  At Calvary Murrieta Junior High (CMJH), we stand upon the Word of the Lord and all that we do is a reflection of His love.  Our motto for this year is “Exist to Serve”.  1 John 2:6 proclaims, “The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”  Simply put, if we call ourselves “Christian”, then we are to be like Christ in ALL we do.  Jesus lived His life on Earth in complete service to His Father in Heaven.  This is the example that we will strive to be like at CMJH.  It is my prayer that each of my students will grow in their faith and service to our Lord Jesus Christ in their commitments to academics, athletics, fine arts, family, and friends.  May the Lord bless you and our upcoming school year!  Go Warriors!!
