To provide a channel through which the physical and financial needs of the school can be made known and through which the members and friends can help in supplying these needs.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

PTF Committees/Special Events
Christmas Store: The Christmas store is open in the beginning of December. Children love secrets, especially if they know the secret. The Christmas store gives each child the opportunity to shop in secret, so their gifts will be a surprise to family members on Christmas morning. Each classroom is asked to donate homemade items for the Christmas store, and time is set aside for parent volunteers to help with craft making which are then donated to the store. When the Christmas store is open we have parent volunteers available to help the children pick out their gifts.
Family Nights: Family nights are an important part of life at CCCS. These events could include drive-in movie nights, game nights, bowling night, skate night, etc. The purpose of these events is to build community between the families and staff at CCCS.
Agape: The Agape Committee tries to do something special every month for the staff. They try to come up with something fun and special, like a special little treat, a scripture or card, or some other fun item that can be placed in each staff member’s mailbox to show they are appreciated.
Staff Appreciation: We want to be sure that every staff member at CCCS feels appreciated for their wonderful contributions and commitment. This committee sets aside one month, usually in February or March, to show appreciation to the staff. We pick a day each week and bless the staff in different ways. For example, one week may be a continental breakfast, the next week may be afternoon dessert and coffee, and the final week may be a catered lunch and gift.
Parking Lot Volunteer Week: We set aside one week each school year to honor and thank our parking lot/traffic volunteers. They work extremely hard every morning helping keep our kids safe.
Family Fun Day: This annual event takes place in May each year. It is a carnival-type setting, with craft booths, jolly jumps, inflatable obstacle courses and slides, and a water-type game (an inflatable slip-n-slide and water wars have been used.) PTF helps sponsor the inflatables for this event and PTF is responsible for the food, selling as a fund raiser to replenish the PTF account for the upcoming school year.
Hospitality and Refreshments (Baking): The baking committee provides goodies for events at CCCS throughout the year. This could include bake sales, cake walk at Fine Arts Day, staff appreciation, Back to School Night, Open House, etc. Proceeds go to the PTF account to help fund other events throughout the year.
Missions: The missions committee helps organize our annual missions fund raiser(s). This involves working with the staff member in charge of heading our mission focus, determining needs, slogan names, promoting fund raiser, preparing materials needed for outreach, and counting money collected.
Room Mom Breakfast: This special event recognizes those parents that go above and beyond serving as room mom in classrooms. It is also used to create a liaison between the classroom and PTF.
Fundraising: Various fund raising activities take place at CCCS each year to help replenish PTF funds that enable PTF to sponsor more events and activities. Annual fund raisers include family fun day, missions, Christmas store, pizza sales and bake sales. Others have included a PTF cookbook, sunscreen and a dinner auction.
Pizza Days: PTF plans several pizza days on half-days. This is a great way to raise funds for PTF and provide a time of food and fellowship for families.
Moms & Mochas: This is a special event to honor all moms for Mother’s Day. PTF sponsors the Espresso Chauffeur Coffee Cart, which is on-site from 6:30 am to 9:00 am to whip up every moms favorite delight. PTF provides pastries and decorates for this event.
Dads-n-Donuts: To honor the dads at CCCS, PTF sponsors the Espresso Chauffeur Coffee Cart to create specialty coffees, milk (for the kids) and doughnuts to every dad and child from 6:30 am to 9:00 am.
