Kitchen Chit Chat

The following information pertains to the elementary campus lunch and snack program.

• Lunches are $3.50 each and include menu entrée, fruit or vegetable, and a drink.
• Salad lunches are $1.75 each and include a garden salad w/ranch dressing, crackers, and a drink.
• 1st-6th grade students are allowed to purchase snacks, which are sold during recess and lunch.
• Lunch and snack cards can be purchased in the school office or students may purchase them in the kitchen.
• Milk cards are available for Kindergarten students only and can be purchased in the school office.

-  Individual Lunch Card: $35.00  (10 lunches)
-  Family Lunch Card (for 3 or more siblings): $35.00  (10 lunches)
-  Snack Card (1st-6th grade students only): $10.00
-  Milk Card (Kindergarten students only): $  7.50  (15 drink purchases)

• Please write your child’s name AND teacher’s name on your check when purchasing lunch, snack and/or milk cards.  Checks should be made payable to CCCS.

If there are any food restrictions for your child (no chocolate, no nuts, drink only, $.35 maximum for the day, etc.),
please notify the kitchen staff so they can note it on your child’s snack card.

Please note:  All students are encouraged to have a lunch card on file in the Kitchen.  If students do not have a lunch card, they must bring EXACT CHANGE in an envelope or baggie with their name on it to purchase lunch, OR they may bring a check made payable to CCCS in the amount of the lunch purchased.  The classroom Teacher, Office Staff and Kitchen Staff will be unable to make change for lunches, so exact change is necessary.  We’re sorry, but no change will be given if a student does not bring exact change.
