Driving Policy - August 2007

Dear Parents,

Attached you will find information regarding our Driving Policy that has been placed in effect as required by our insurance company and by the guidelines recommended by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

We look to the parents at CCCS to assist with driving students on field trips and school related activities.  If you are able to assist us with driving this school year, we have a few things you need to complete in order to be approved.

• Read the attached Driver Policy, which is yours to keep
• Read and sign the attached Driver/Chaperone Instructions and return to the office
• Complete the attached Volunteer Driver Application and return it to the office with a copy of your valid California Driver’s License and a copy of your current insurance policy

One additional requirement is that you watch the “Precious Cargo” video.  If you have seen the video in the past you do not need to view it again.  However, if you are new to the school or have never viewed the video, you will need to do so in order to be approved.  You may stop by the office anytime to view the video.
